Portuguese Official Stresses Importance of Firefighters in Civil Protection
The Secretary of State for Civil Protection stated today that civil protection and firefighters are a “national priority”. According to the official, firefighters are currently the backbone of civil protection in Portugal.
The Secretary of State emphasized the crucial role that firefighters play in the country’s civil protection efforts, describing them as the “espinha dorsal da proteção civil em Portugal”, which translates to “the backbone of civil protection in Portugal”.
