A video circulating on social media captures the aftermath as relatives and residents gathered outside the property while police were being summoned to the scene. During the recording, several individuals identify the deceased as “Badal” and allege that he was a former Trinidad and Tobago Police Service armed officer believed to be in his early 50s. However, police have not officially confirmed his identity or employment history.
The footage records emotional exchanges among those present, with one person repeatedly stating that the man had died while others discussed contacting family members and directing police to the residence.
In the video the man was seen standing outside the residence, leaning toward the white metal fence surrounding the front yard. Preliminary observations from the scene suggest his head may have become lodged between sections of the metal fence. However, this has not been officially confirmed, and authorities have not stated whether this played any role in his death.
