Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed a Chinese company’s plan to transform Pakistan’s grain storage facilities into state-of-the-art centers. During a meeting with a delegation led by FAMSUN CEO Jack Chen in Islamabad, the premier said the initiative will introduce advanced technology to Pakistan’s agriculture sector and boost commercial activities across the country.

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China, noting that business-to-business cooperation would further strengthen bilateral ties. He also emphasized the importance of skills training as an integral part of such projects.

Jack Chen thanked the Prime Minister for the warm hospitality and recalled his recent meeting with Shehbaz during the latter’s visit to China. Chen said FAMSUN is keen to support Pakistan’s food security by developing modern grain storage facilities, facilitating technology transfer, and providing training.
