Sarapiquí Flooding: 330 Still in Shelters as Yellow Alert Holds

Four days after floodwaters swept through Sarapiquí in the dark, the water has not receded. More than 330 people remain in shelters, with numbers rising each day. At least three communities are cut off by road, forcing authorities to deliver food and supplies by boat.
