Residents of Moruga are raising alarms over a hazardous crater on Penal Rock Road, calling for immediate government intervention. Gerald Guevarro, a local resident, has emerged as a vocal representative of the community’s growing discontent.
Standing knee-deep in the crater, Guevarro expressed his frustration with the government’s inaction, highlighting the peril the damaged road presents to both drivers and pedestrians. “Please, please do something,” he implored, underscoring the desperation felt by those living nearby.
The road, which serves as a vital connection for the area, has suffered from years of neglect, according to community members. The crater, now a symbol of governmental oversight, continues to deteriorate, exacerbating its threat to public safety.
Residents are urging officials to prioritize the road repair, emphasizing it is not just an inconvenience but a looming danger. For now, the community remains hopeful that their calls for help will not fall on deaf ears, as the impacts of the damaged road accumulate with each passing day.
