The Government of Trinidad and Tobago, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, has announced a training programme for pig farmers focused on artificial insemination techniques. The course will be held at the Sugarcane Feed Centre in Longdenville and is intended to help farmers improve reproductive efficiency, increase productivity, and boost profitability within the local pork industry.
Participants will receive practical, hands-on training designed to develop skills in modern breeding methods. The initiative forms part of the government’s wider effort to modernize agriculture, strengthen food production, and improve the competitiveness of local farmers.
Interested farmers are encouraged to contact the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries for further information on registration and participation.
