In a significant advancement for international diplomacy, Trinidad and Tobago has been elected as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Sean Sobers expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the nation, acknowledging the confidence bestowed upon Trinidad and Tobago by the UN membership.
