Alexander acknowledged that finding the child would be akin to a miracle, given the complex circumstances surrounding the case. The child was reportedly last sighted in an area densely populated with seaweed, making the search even more challenging.
Alexander praised the police for their valuable contributions to the investigation, noting that their hard work was bringing closure to a heart-wrenching situation. He expressed his condolences to everyone in Tobago, particularly those not directly involved in the child’s disappearance.
In his remarks, Alexander took the opportunity to address a broader societal issue. He urged young women to be cautious when choosing their relationship partners, highlighting the prevalence of substance abuse issues.
Finally, he commended the excellent work of the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) for Tobago, Mr. Rishi Singh, and his team, emphasizing the importance of their coordinated efforts in this investigation.
