A man identified as Odary Joseph admitted during a viral livestream interview that he took money from multiple individuals through his real estate operation without delivering the promised services, while also promising to repay everyone affected.
The livestream, hosted by Dale from “Straight to the Point,” captured Joseph answering questions surrounding failed property arrangements, fake testimonials, and missing funds connected to his business dealings. During the interview, he admitted that more than 20 people were impacted and acknowledged using clients’ money for cryptocurrency investments, rent, bills, and other personal expenses.
Joseph also admitted asking another individual to record a fake voice note pretending to be a satisfied customer in an effort to make the business appear legitimate. Several people reportedly paid thousands of dollars believing they were securing homes or property related services.
Despite the admissions made during the livestream, Joseph repeatedly stated that he intends to repay everyone who lost money. The interview has since sparked intense reactions online, with many social media users debating whether those affected will recover their funds and calling for stronger accountability in online business transactions.
The situation has also raised wider concerns about trust, fraud, and the increasing number of financial scams targeting hardworking citizens through social media platforms.
