Member of Parliament for Tunapuna, Roger Alexander, has announced a successful launch of phase two of the Hairdressing Course in his constituency. The event took place on Saturday at the constituency office, which was transformed into vibrant classrooms filled with hair products and eager participants.
With over 200 women registering, the course provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to learn a variety of hairdressing techniques. This initiative is designed not only to enhance skills but also to empower women in the community by providing them with new avenues for self-expression and potential career paths.
MP Alexander expressed his excitement about the overwhelming response and encouraged participants to fully engage with the course material. He emphasized the importance of taking advantage of such educational opportunities to foster personal and professional growth.
The Hairdressing Course is part of a broader effort to support local constituents and promote skill development that can lead to economic independence. As the program progresses, participants are expected to gain confidence and expertise in their newly acquired skills, contributing positively to the Tunapuna community.
