Service providers who worked with the Tobago People’s Party during the April 2025 General Elections are now publicly calling for outstanding payments owed to them.
Several individuals involved in campaign-related services expressed frustration, stating that months after the elections, they are still awaiting compensation for work completed. The group is urging the party to settle all outstanding balances, noting that many of them relied on timely payments to cover personal and business expenses.
The issue has sparked concern among those affected, with some questioning the delay and calling for clearer communication on when payments will be finalized.
In response to the concerns, Chief Secretary Farley Augustine acknowledged the situation and stated that payments are currently being processed incrementally. He assured that efforts are ongoing to resolve the matter and that all service providers will be paid.
Despite the assurance, affected individuals continue to push for quicker resolution, emphasizing the importance of accountability and timely compensation following contractual work.
