The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service website was temporarily offline earlier this year due to outstanding payments to its external service provider, according to officials.
The outage, which occurred during February and extended into early March 2026, was attributed to unpaid invoices related to hosting and maintenance services. Authorities confirmed that the issue has since been resolved and the website has been restored.
Officials also noted that the platform is currently undergoing upgrades and maintenance to improve its reliability and performance. Some features may remain temporarily unavailable while these improvements are being completed.
The disruption raised concerns about access to public information, particularly crime statistics and other critical updates typically published on the site. Authorities assured that once upgrades are finalized, full functionality will be restored and services will resume as normal.
