A burglary at the Siparia Seventh-Day Adventist Primary School has sparked a police investigation. The school’s principal discovered the crime on Saturday morning upon arriving at the premises on Station Street. After finding her office in disarray, she promptly reported the incident to the Siparia Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at around 10:00 a.m.
The principal’s office appeared to be the primary target, with the room ransacked and a secured silver cabinet pried open. The stolen items included $615 in cash, a black Samsung fast charger valued at $250, and a Bluetooth speaker.
Investigators have ascertained that the burglar likely gained access to the building via a side window, which was also used as the exit point after the crime. Officers from the Siparia CID are currently processing the scene and diligently following leads in an effort to identify the culprits.
The investigation is ongoing, with no arrests made at this point. The school community is shaken but resolute in their determination to overcome this incident.
