Caribbean Airlines Pilots New Digital Immigration System

This weekend, passengers travelling via Caribbean Airlines through Piarco International Airport will participate in a pilot test of Trinidad and Tobago’s new digital immigration and customs system. On Saturday, March 14, 2026, passengers on select flights will be asked to fill out an online arrival and departure form as part of the new system’s trial. The pilot test will cater to passengers on Caribbean Airlines flights BW 527 and BW 431 arriving at Piarco, and BW 240 departing from the airport. All must complete the Trinidad and Tobago digital ED form via the government’s official portal. Despite the trial, officials have clarified that the digital system is still in the pilot phase, and passengers will need to complete the traditional paper immigration form until the new system is fully operational. This initiative forms part of the government’s broader effort to modernize border management and make the immigration process more efficient for travellers entering and leaving Trinidad and Tobago.
