He acknowledged their past disagreements and conflicts but described them as ‘family business’. Duke stressed that their shared priority is the welfare of Tobago. Despite their internal conflicts, Duke pledged his full support for Augustine in the impending election. Speaking about his political opponents, Duke predicted a comprehensive victory at the polls, promising a 15-seat victory and leaving the former Prime Minister with ‘nothing’. He rallied his followers, whom he refers to as ‘Spartans’, vowing to defeat the opposition overwhelmingly.
