In the early hours of Sunday morning, residents of Phoenix Park, California, Couva were left traumatized following a violent home invasion carried out by three armed men. The residents had taken precautions, securing their home by locking all doors and windows the previous evening. However, at around 1 a.m., they were startled awake by loud voices, discovering the three intruders in their home. The men, each armed with a firearm, demanded money, bound the residents and assaulted one of them. They then proceeded to loot the house, taking cash, cellphones, jewelry, identification documents, and even a resident’s car, an Orange Suzuki Swift. The police report suggests that the burglars entered and exited through a side door on the ground floor.
