Swift Drive-Up Robbery in St James Leaves Venezuelan Woman Shaken

A Venezuelan woman and her daughter were victims of a sudden robbery in St James on the evening of November 20, 2025. As they were walking on Angelina Street at about 8:30 p.m., an unidentified silver Nissan Almera pulled up next to them. A woman, described as a heavy-built African descent female with a braided hairstyle, got out of the car and forcibly stole the victim’s bag of groceries worth $500 TT. Following the robbery, the suspect quickly reentered the vehicle and drove off west on Angelina Street. The St James police are currently investigating the incident.
