More than a week ago, Trinidadian sailors Alvin Morgan and Damien Reece set off from Tobago on a 29-foot fishing pirogue called Kampai. Their mission was to deliver the boat, commissioned by a UK resident for use in the St Vincent fishing industry, to Union Island. Unfortunately, neither the men nor the boat reached their destination. There have been unconfirmed sightings of the vessel near Carriacou and Grenada. Despite the boat having an engine issue that was fixed before departure, it never arrived at Union Island. Efforts to reach the sailors have been unsuccessful, and no confirmed information about their whereabouts has been provided by the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard.
