British Couple Drowns at Australia’s Shellharbour Beach

On March 11, 2026, a British couple’s vacation tragically ended when they drowned at Shellharbour Beach in New South Wales, Australia. Emergency services were alerted around 11:10 a.m. local time after reports of two distressed swimmers. Despite rescue efforts by the public and paramedics, the 66-year-old man and 64-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene.
