Security Officer Bailed Over East Lakes Home Invasion

A 29-year-old security officer, Tisha Badal, was granted a $30,000 bail following her appearance before Justice of the Peace Marilyn Martin. Badal is linked to a home invasion in East Lakes community earlier this month and is set to answer the charges at Arima High Court North. The charges were a result of a police investigation into a reported home invasion at East Lakes development on Tumpuna Road on March 6, 2026. The investigation led to the detention of two officers, though the second officer has been released. The Arima Police Station continues to investigate the incident, and the specific roles played by the security personnel are yet to be disclosed. Meanwhile, East Lakes residents are concerned about security protocols in the wake of the incident.
