Florida Teen Charged with First-Degree Murder in Bullying Case

A 17-year-old teen from Florida is facing first-degree murder charges following an incident where he allegedly ran over a 16-year-old classmate with his car. The victim, identified as Mikhail Cuba, was riding a scooter in an Orlando neighborhood when Elijah Emmans, the accused, reportedly spotted him and struck him intentionally. Surveillance footage from the scene appears to support this claim. According to Cuba’s family, Emmans had a history of bullying the victim in school, which led to Cuba leaving traditional school and switching to homeschooling. Following the incident, Emmans was arrested and has been placed in a juvenile detention center.
