Nation Honors PNM Stalwart Dr. Ferreira at Funeral

On Tuesday, a funeral service was held for veteran public servant and political figure Dr. Ferdinand “Ferdie” Ferreira, attended by family, friends, party colleagues and well-wishers. The service took place at the Port of Spain Church of the Assumption, and attendees showed their respect by standing quietly at the casket, many wearing red ribbons as a symbol of remembrance.
