In a swift act of theft at East Gate Mall, a Weso Foods driver was targeted, resulting in several food items being stolen from his unattended truck on Tuesday afternoon. The driver had parked his truck around 3:00 p.m. to enter the mall and returned 15 minutes later to find multiple cases of food missing. The stolen items, including boneless salt fish, krinkle fries, lamb, mixed vegetables, and cow heel, totaled TT$2,118.50 in value. The case is currently under investigation by authorities.
