Domestic Dispute Leads to Two Arrests in Virgin Islands

Two people were arrested in the Virgin Islands following a domestic dispute in Anna’s Retreat on December 4. The incident involved the use of a knife. Police responded to an assault report and found Junior Moricette, who claimed that Milord Medzar stabbed him while trying to leave the house. However, Medzar stated that Moricette had attacked her first, leading her to use the knife for self-defense. It was also reported that during the argument, Medzar threw a bottle at Moricette. Both parties were uncooperative in helping police locate the weapon, resulting in them both being charged with third-degree assault and disturbing the peace. They are scheduled to appear in court on December 19.
