Parents raise concerns about violence and discipline at Tableland Secondary

Concerns Raised Over Safety at Tableland Secondary School

Concerns are being raised by parents about safety and discipline at Tableland Secondary School, following reports of another violent incident on the school compound.

One parent recently shared that their child informed them about a violent outbreak at the school, adding to growing worries among families about the environment students are experiencing on a daily basis.

According to the parent, there has been a noticeable increase in indiscipline on the school compound over some time. They claim the situation has created anxiety among students and parents who fear that the school environment may be becoming increasingly unsafe.

The parent further expressed concern that some students feel unsafe attending classes and believe that bullying and disruptive behaviour are not being adequately addressed.

Parents are now calling on the Ministry of Education and the Teaching Service Commission to examine the situation and take steps to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Questions are also being raised about the leadership structure at the school, with some parents suggesting that the appointment of a permanent Principal and Vice Principal could help provide stronger guidance and stability for the institution.

Many parents say their primary concern is ensuring that students can learn in a safe and supportive environment where discipline is properly maintained.

At this time, there has been no official statement from the Ministry of Education regarding the reported incident.
