An investigation has been launched by the police following the discovery of a woman’s body near the St. Joseph Presbyterian Church. The semi-nude body was found in a bushy area on Monday. Officers were alerted to the location at around 7:40 p.m. on December 8. The woman, believed to be in her late 30s and of African descent, was found wearing only a black and brown jacket. A District Medical Officer examined the body, which showed no obvious signs of violence, and ordered its removal for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. The police investigation into this matter is ongoing.
