Hunters Search and Rescue Receives Vehicle Donation from BTD Founder
The Hunters Search and Rescue Team has received a significant boost to its operations following the donation of a vehicle from Jimmel Morton, founder of the Built To Donate (BTD) initiative.
The donation will help strengthen the team’s ability to respond to emergencies, transport personnel and equipment, and reach areas that may otherwise be difficult to access during search and rescue missions.
For years, the Hunters Search and Rescue Team has played a critical role in assisting families and communities during emergencies, often operating with limited resources and relying heavily on volunteer efforts and public support.
Morton, whose BTD initiative is known for restoring and donating vehicles to individuals and organizations in need, said the contribution reflects a commitment to supporting groups that make a positive impact in their communities. Through BTD, numerous vehicles have been repaired and donated across Trinidad and Tobago, helping recipients improve their quality of life and continue serving others.

Members of the Hunters Search and Rescue Team expressed appreciation for the donation, noting that reliable transportation is essential to their mission and will enhance their ability to respond quickly when called upon.
The donation serves as an example of how community partnerships and private generosity can strengthen volunteer organizations that provide vital services throughout the country.
