Tanzania and France Forge New Economic Partnership at Paris Roundtable

In a vibrant display of international collaboration, Tanzania’s Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) has unveiled a strategic partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) during a business roundtable event in Paris. The event gathered key stakeholders, including Prime Minister Mwigulu Nchemba, who passionately urged French investors to seize opportunities across various sectors like agriculture, mining, and digital technology.

The partnership aims to fortify Tanzania’s trade environment and promote investment, showcasing the country’s potential as a new frontier for economic growth. During the signing ceremony, TPSF leaders exchanged documents with ICC authorities, signifying a commitment to building lasting economic ties between Tanzania and France.

As part of this initiative, the ICC plans to establish a Tanzania National Committee, set to launch an official office within the year. This ambitious move comes as part of Tanzania’s Vision 2050 development strategy, which seeks to evolve the economy into a one-trillion-dollar powerhouse heavily supported by the private sector. The roundtable marked a significant step forward in fostering deeper connections between Tanzanian and French businesses.
