Parliament has approved a supplementary allocation of $52,651,627 to support government operations and national initiatives for the 2025 to 2026 financial year.
The funding will be distributed across several ministries to address operational expenses, social programs, and development priorities. Officials say the allocation is necessary to ensure continuity in services and respond to evolving national needs.
Key areas include community empowerment programs, treasury-related expenses, insurance coverage, and humanitarian support efforts. The resolution was passed following review in the Standing Finance Committee.
