North Oropouche was the scene of a disturbing incident on Saturday evening when gunmen opened fire on the home of the son of the late businessman Danny Guerra. Though the attack left the house riddled with bullets, thankfully, no one was injured. The brazen nature of the incident has left residents of the usually quiet Guy’s Trace community shaken and alarmed. The property, situated within a gated community that requires identification for entry, has raised serious security concerns among residents. They are now questioning how the gunmen managed to breach the compound, given that the main gate is the only point of entry. Calls have been made for the police to question the security guard who was on duty during the time of the shooting. As it stands, the police are expected to continue the investigations into the incident, with the hope of shedding light on this unsettling occurrence.
