Trinidad and Tobago Uninvolved in Venezuela Military Action

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar of Trinidad and Tobago has clarified her country’s position amidst the recent military operations in Venezuela initiated by the United States. In a public announcement, she emphasized that Trinidad and Tobago are not involved in any military activities currently happening. The Prime Minister also reassured that despite the escalating situation in the region, peaceful relations between Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela persist. This statement has been released at a time when international concerns are mounting over the increasing tensions in Venezuela.
