Police Fatally Shoot Man After Car Chase in Valsayn

Earlier today, a man was fatally shot by police in Spring Village, Valsayn, following a high-speed car chase that originated in Maloney. Just past midday, patrolling officers identified three men known to them for their involvement in multiple firearm-related crimes. The suspects were in a car which they refused to halt when signaled by the police, instigating the chase. The suspects turned off the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway, heading towards St Augustine when they were ambushed by another police team on Bassie Street Extension. The suspects attempted to fire at the police, who responded in kind, resulting in all three men being shot multiple times.
