Moldovan Cities Eligible to Compete for European Capital of Culture 2033 Title
The National Office for Cultural Development (ONDC) has launched a national competition to select the city that will represent Moldova in the European contest for the title of European Capital of Culture 2033. According to the Ministry of Culture, cities and municipalities in the country can submit their applications until October 4, 2026.
The national competition is the stage at which the city that will represent Moldova in the European competition will be designated. This opportunity allows Moldovan cities to participate in the prestigious title of European Capital of Culture 2033.
