Madhya Pradesh’s ‘Amrit Harit Mahaabhiyan’ campaign has officially commenced with site inspections in Bhopal. Urban Development Commissioner Sanket Bhondwe and Bhopal Municipal Commissioner Sanskriti Jain surveyed barren hills near Judicial Academy to assess their potential for urban forest development.
The campaign is the on-ground implementation arm of the ‘Namo Harit-Nagar Yojana’. Officials directed that the areas be developed into public parks with walking tracks, nature trails, and basic amenities, ensuring they become recreational hubs for citizens.
