A TikTok livestream by a doubles vendor has gone viral after a school-aged boy was allegedly caught taking cash from the vendor’s cash tray while placing an order.
According to the video, the schoolboy initially ordered doubles before increasing his order. As the vendor focused on preparing the additional items, the boy allegedly reached into the cash tray and appeared to help himself to what may have been his own change. Instead, he was seen grabbing what appeared to be a handful of banknotes while the vendor remained distracted preparing the order.
The incident was captured live on TikTok, where viewers quickly noticed what had happened. The livestream comments immediately filled with warnings to the vendor, alerting him to the alleged theft as it unfolded.
The video ended with the schoolboy still standing at the stall before any confrontation or response from the vendor was shown. Based on the livestream comments, the vendor later appeared to realize what had happened. As of now, there have been no further updates regarding the incident.
The video has since circulated widely across social media, sparking discussion about youth crime, personal responsibility, and the challenges faced by small business owners who work long hours serving the public.
