Minister in the Ministry of Housing, Phillip Edward Alexander, faced significant opposition after criticizing Westmoorings residents who requested road repairs. His comments came in response to the constituency voting for the People’s National Movement (PNM) in the General Elections on April 28. In an attempt to soften his stance, Alexander stated that Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar would address the community’s concerns.
