Man Kidnapped, Father Robbed at Gunpoint in Penal

In a shocking incident on Wednesday night, a 34-year-old man named Michael Espana Ramnath was kidnapped in Penal. He was abducted while his 65-year-old father, Guillermo Antonio Espana, was robbed at gunpoint. The incident took place around 11 p.m. when Michael was closing his burger cart, Best Friends Burgers, on S.S. Erin Road. A white car blocked their way on Ramjattan Trace, and two armed men in masks forcibly took Michael and robbed Guillermo of $4,000 – the day’s earnings. The kidnappers took off with Michael, and as of Thursday morning, no ransom demand has been made. The police, supported by the Hunters Search and Rescue Team, are actively looking for Michael. The Anti-Kidnapping Unit, Penal CID, and Crime Scene Investigations are also involved in the case.
