The Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago has been bolstered with the appointment of four new High Court Masters, following a formal swearing-in ceremony held at the Waterfront Judicial Centre in Port of Spain.

The oaths of office were administered by Chief Justice Mr Justice Ronnie Boodoosingh during the ceremony at the Chief Justice’s Conference Room, where the new appointees officially took up their roles within the High Court.

Those sworn in as High Court Masters are Mrs Tinuke Gibbons-Glenn, Mr Raydon Dalrymple-Watts, Mrs Tecla Duncan-Caines, and Ms Tracey Vidale.

Also taking their oaths were Ms Riyana Gibson and Mr Roger Hector, who were appointed as Magistracy Registrars and Clerks of the Court.

In his remarks, the Chief Justice emphasised the importance of the roles, noting that High Court Masters and court officials are essential to the efficient functioning of the judicial system. He highlighted that their work supports the overall structure of the courts and plays a key role in ensuring matters are handled in a timely and organised manner.

The appointments come as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the administration of justice and improve the efficiency of court operations.
