Yesterday, House Republicans dismissed two resolutions supported by Democrats, which would have regulated President Donald Trump’s authority to employ military force against drug cartels and Venezuela. The opposition to these resolutions effectively gives the President full freedom to take any necessary action against these entities as he sees fit.
