Disguised Passenger Sets Up Terror Robbery on Bus

A terrifying incident took place today on a maxi taxi travelling along the Priority Bus Route near Lopinot Road in Arouca. The unsuspecting passengers were ambushed by five armed bandits. The horrifying twist was that the setup was allegedly staged by a passenger on board, disguised as a woman in traditional Muslim attire. As the disguised passenger requested to stop, the bandits stormed the vehicle. Chaos ensued as they began to rob the passengers, particularly targeting the women, of their handbags, phones, and personal belongings. It was noted that the disguised passenger was not robbed and calmly exited the maxi, appearing to lead the bandits away from the scene. The carefully coordinated robbery suggests the bandits had precise information on the taxi’s route, turning the incident into a planned hijack-style robbery. The passengers were left shaken and traumatized as the suspects escaped on foot.
