Madhya Pradesh’s ‘Namo Harit-Nagar Yojana’ is not just for big cities. Under the scheme, 299 municipal councils will receive up to ₹10 lakh each to develop green spaces.
Together with 98 municipalities getting ₹30 lakh and 11 municipal corporations ₹1.20 crore, the scheme ensures that urban greening reaches every corner of the state. The top five cities get ₹5 crore each.
This inclusive approach aims to improve air quality and living conditions across all urban areas, from metropolitan hubs to small towns.
