In a bid to tackle employment challenges faced by the youth in Central Africa, Africa Global Logistics (AGL) and Congo Terminal organized a job forum at the CEFA institute in Pointe-Noire from July 2 to 4, 2026. This forum saw the participation of around 200 young individuals eager to explore internship and job opportunities within reputable companies.
The event led to the preselection of over 70 talented youth by AGL and Congo Terminal, contributing to an impressive roster of 75 current interns and nearly 100 apprentices. Central to the forum were workshops designed to enhance candidates’ employability, covering vital topics like CV crafting, effective job searches, and interview techniques.
Paris Bidjang, the Human Resources Director at AGL Congo, emphasized the initiative’s importance, stating, ‘Participating in this forum is more than recruitment; it’s about supporting youth in their career paths and enabling them to showcase their skills.’ This dedication underlines a commitment to creating real and sustainable pathways for developing human capital in Congo.
