Weather Alert: Trinidad Storms Possible

The official public weather forecast for Friday, July 11, 2025, indicates generally sunny and hazy conditions across Trinidad and the Leeward Islands, with a low chance of isolated showers. There is a 30% chance of isolated heavy showers or thunderstorms in Trinidad during the afternoon, with possible gusty winds and street or flash flooding expected if such conditions occur. Overnight, few partly cloudy spells with isolated showers are anticipated. In Tobago and the Windward Islands, partly cloudy periods are expected with some scattered showers, which have a 40% chance of becoming heavy or thundery at times, along with the potential for gusty winds and flooding. Temperature forecasts show a minimum of 24.4°C and a maximum of 32°C for Piarco, while Crown Point will range from 25.1°C to 30°C. Sea conditions are moderate, with waves reaching 1.5m to 2.0m in open waters and below 1.0m in sheltered areas.
