Violence in Cunupia: Couple Traumatized in Early Morning Home Invasion

**CUNUPIA** — A quiet morning in Cunupia was shattered on Thursday when masked bandits launched a violent home invasion, leaving a man injured and a couple robbed of their savings.

the incident occurred in the early hours of March 12, 2026. The victims were reportedly asleep in their home when a group of armed, masked men managed to gain entry to the premises.

### A Brutal Assault

The intrusion quickly turned violent. Investigators state that the bandits confronted the male homeowner, physically assaulting him while demanding cash and valuables. The man was reportedly beaten during the ordeal as the criminals used intimidation and force to ensure compliance.

* **The Robbery:** The suspects ransacked the home, eventually making off with an undisclosed sum of cash and personal items.
* **The Escape:** The group of masked men fled the scene shortly after the attack. It is currently unclear if a getaway vehicle was waiting nearby.
* **Medical Attention:** The injured man received treatment for his injuries, which, while traumatic, are not believed to be life-threatening.
