Venezuelan Justice Minister Diosdado Cabello has once again warned Trinidad and Tobago against any possible attacks launched from its territory. Cabello, a high-ranking official in the Maduro regime, spoke about this during a visit to Venezuela’s police coordination center. He accused Trinidad of using its territory against Venezuela, warning of consequences if this continued. He stressed that Venezuela aims to live in peace and does not seek conflict, but would have no choice but to respond if attacked. This latest statement is part of an ongoing diplomatic dispute between the two countries, amidst the US’s increasing military presence in Caribbean waters and escalating pressure on Venezuela.
