US influencer Ashly Robinson, known online as Ashlee Jenae, tragically passed away during what was supposed to be a dream vacation in Zanzibar. Her partner, Joe McCann, is currently being treated as a witness in the investigation into Robinson’s untimely demise. McCann, however, is not a suspect and no arrests have been made. His passport has been withheld by the police as they await results from an official medical examination.
The sudden loss of Robinson has left her family bewildered and in search of answers, as they publicly question the circumstances surrounding her passing. The 31-year-old influencer’s final updates seemed to depict an idyllic holiday before the unexpected tragedy.
According to the police, the couple experienced a misunderstanding during their holiday. This led the staff at Zuri Zanzibar, where they were staying, to separate them into different rooms. The hotel confirmed an unfortunate incident involving one of their guests and is currently cooperating with the investigation.
The probe into Robinson’s death is an international effort involving officials from both Tanzania, where the incident occurred, and the United States. The family continues to seek answers as they work alongside these officials.
