Urgent Search Underway for Missing Teen Jayda Charles

The community of Sangre Grande has been thrown into a state of concern as the search continues for 15-year-old Jayda Charles, who has been missing since June 11, 2026. The young girl was last seen in her hometown, and efforts to find her have intensified as local authorities issued a missing person alert.

Jayda’s disappearance has mobilized not only the authorities but also families and local NGOs, including a registered Search and Rescue Team. The community is urged to actively participate in sharing information and assisting with the search. Each day that passes without news only heightens the urgency and emotional toll on Jayda’s family and the involved community members.

Authorities are calling on residents and the broader Trinidad and Tobago community to remain vigilant and report any sightings or information that may aid in locating Jayda. Flyers with her details are being distributed, and social media is abuzz with pleas for assistance in amplifying the search efforts.

As the search continues, the collective hope of Jayda’s safe return drives this community-forward initiative, with each member playing a crucial role in the efforts to bring her home safely.
