UASD Azua abre tres nuevas aulas para ampliar el Programa Inglés de Inmersión

The Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) has expanded the capacity of the English Immersion Program at its Azua campus with the opening of three new classrooms. This initiative aims to increase the number of local students receiving free English language instruction. With the addition of these facilities, the program will now operate one morning session and three afternoon sessions. Officials stated that this distribution is designed to accommodate a larger volume of students, providing them with access to language skills that are increasingly essential for securing employment, obtaining scholarships, and pursuing further academic and professional opportunities. The expansion was coordinated by Rony Rincón, supervisor of the English Immersion Program for the Southern Region; Francisco Ramírez, director of the UASD Azua campus; and Maikel Piña, coordinator of the program. According to university representatives, the habilitation of these new classrooms is intended to address the growing demand for language training among the youth in the region. By strengthening the educational offerings at the Azua campus, the program seeks to enhance the development of competencies that better prepare students for the competitive labor market.
