In a late-night anti-crime operation in Arouca, two men were taken into custody following the discovery of 85 marijuana plants. The Northern Division officers carried out the operation between 10:00 p.m. on March 9 and 2:00 a.m. on March 10, under the State of Emergency Powers Regulations 2026. The searches were conducted at two residences located at LP 28 Dunder Hill Road. A 35-year-old man was apprehended after 54 marijuana plants were found in his possession, while another 31-year-old man was arrested after 31 plants were discovered at his residence. Investigations concerning the case are currently underway.
