Twenty three people, including alleged gang leaders, two women and two Venezuelan nationals, were detained under Personal Detention Orders as authorities continued operations under the State of Emergency. Police said the crackdown is targeting violent networks linked to shootings, kidnappings, firearms trafficking and organised criminal activity. More than 80 people have been detained since Parliament extended the emergency measures in March.
